2008 Global Extension Mission Trip

Last year a scouting trip was made to North East India by a member of The Gathering. This trip manifested the words of Jesus that "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few". Word was brought back to The Gathering and has birthed this venture.

The Gathering's Global Extension is planning a trip to NE India later this year where they will invest in the ministry of some long-term workers already on the ground. These workers' ministry is to college students from a neighboring country, a country that is practically untouched with the gospel.

Vision and Goals

The Global Extension Team has three main objectives:

• Bless our missionary hosts by serving and refreshing them.
• Pray for the long-term team and for the people in this area.
• Creatively and effectively engage in a cultural exchange with the college students we encounter.
