Fall is right around the corner, but before it comes we’re going to celebrate the end of the summer with a cookout at Veteran’s Park (1875 S Boulder)! Come join us from noon to 3pm on Labor Day for some tasty grub and heart-thumping games. And in celebration of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, we’re bringing back “The Gathering Olympics.” Bring a friend, a side dish or dessert, your competitive edge and your bag chair. Hey ladies, please save September 19-21 for the 1st annual Gathering Women's Retreat. We will be going to a campgrounds in Eagle Rock, MO with cabins, a great meeting area, hiking trails, and lots of open space. The agenda for the weekend: fellowship, some corporate worship, relaxation, and fun! The cost is TBD and will include housing and food, and we plan to keep it affordable. For more info contact
